If you know me, you know I love a great classic Old Fashioned and Mr Black. So when I went to the Mr Black website and saw their Cold Brew Old Fashioned, I had to try it.
This simple recipe takes no time to create and packs a lot of flavor.
Using the proper rye will make a huge difference in taste, and each one will provide different flavor profiles.
I used Rittenhouse rye for this recipe because it’s my go-to rye for cocktails that I haven’t tried yet.

1 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Mr Black
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.
- Add ice.
- Stir for 30 seconds.
- Strain over a large ice cube in a double rocks glass.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
